Allen Johnson Outlines Post-Doha US Agricultural Trade Agenda for USDA Outlook Conference

Crystal City, VA – Allen Johnson, President of Allen F. Johnson & Associates (AFJ), spoke to the USDA Agricultural Outlook Forum on the US agricultural trade agenda in a post-Doha Round world.  The USDA Agricultural Outlook forum—which draws top US and foreign agricultural, trade, economic officials, business people, economists, and scientists—is the leading agricultural event in the Washington, D.C. area.  Johnson’s speech, which can be found at, focused on the key drivers and determinants of US trade policy and the key role that US agriculture plays in that process.  He provided insights on how previous WTO negotiating rounds and US bilateral negotiations have and will affect and shape US trade policy in the future as we move beyond the current WTO Doha Development Agenda (DDA) negotiations and towards new multilateral, regional, and bilateral trade initiatives.
