Juan Pio Hernandez joined Allen F. Johnson & Associates in July 2011 as an Associate. Mr. Hernandez is responsible for analyzing markets and government policies, monitoring economic and political developments in target countries; and implementing client projects. During his time at AFJ, Mr. Hernandez has assisted in the drafting and writing of several project reports, market analysis, and project proposals. Mr. Hernandez also provides daily monitoring of key agricultural, trade, economic, and political developments in Latin America and the U.S. Prior to working at AFJ, Mr. Hernandez has worked in the private sector in international trade, project management, and international banking.

Mr. Hernandez was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He is fluent in English and Spanish, and is proficient in Portuguese. He holds a Master’s Degree in International Trade and Investment Policy from George Washington University; as well as a Bachelor’s degree in International Business with a minor in Political Science from the same institution.
